Why should I advertise with FrenchProperty 4U?

This is a new portal, working on the principle of no cure no pay, ie you pay only when you accept to buy a lead.

How do I advertise on this portal  ?

If you are a private vendor just register yourself under the tab «   advertise  » http://frenchproperty4u.eu/fr-i-add.html , here you can also upload details of the property you have for sale.
If you are an estate agency or service provider fill in the supplier  http://frenchproperty4u.eu/fr-i-add-company registration form, on of our technicians will contact you shortly to discuss the best way to upload your properties.

Can I cancel my registration?

Yes of course, once you are logged in you can deactivate your house listing ( via “ property listing” ), and /or your company profile appearing in the listing of companies (via “ company profile” ).

Questions relative to buying/getting leads


What does it cost to advertise on this portal  ?
The concept of frenchpreprty4u.eu, is that you do not pay to advertise. You only pay per qualified lead. At this moment we have priced a qualified lead at 5 euros per transfer of information. On top the first 10 leads received per company person are free. In other words you get 50 euros credit to start with to pay for the first 10 leads.

What is a qualified lead  ?

A qualified lead is a visitor of frenchpropetty4u, that has asked a question about on your properties and has provided frenchproperty4u for you his/her contact details.

French property4u will send you the surname, first name and town of the client. This way you can check if you have already contact with this client. If you decide to purchase the lead, frenchproperty4u will then send you the rest of his contact details: email, buying intention, additional question asked  . That means you only pay for a lead that you do not yet have in your database.

Lead Tracking via the portal

Once you have accepted the lead it is up to you to keep track of the client and his wishes. That means you should keep track of your communication of the client from the moment you buy the lead.
- What happens if the same client enquires again through your portal for one of my properties, do I pay again?
Once you pay for one client, you get access to all the clients’ requests and correspondence. So you only pay once.

How do I pay?

You can buy credit at 50 euros per time. You can pay this through bank transfer (Iban and Bic details are mentioned on the invoice available on line. (Soon, though not yet available) through our securized credit card facility. The first 50 euros credit is added to your account after registration, after that you need to buy credit to top your account.

Is it safe to pay via credit card?

We use a credit card secure payment system managed by our bank. French property4u actually does not collect the credit card information; it is a direct connection with a proven and secure system.
How do I follow my account with French property4u
In your own registration area click at any time «   Account summary  » , you will be able to see the status of your account.

How do I get a VAT invoice?

Once registered via «   my area  » , you will be able to view and print your invoices. Our company is registered in France and charges therefore 19.6% vat for delivered services.

My company is registered outside France, how can I avoid paying VAT?

Once you have cleared your international VAT number with French property4u, you will receive invoices without VAT.

How do I add property information to French property ?

There are several ways  :
1) If you are a private vendor you will have been able to add your property when registering
2) additional property can be added manually via the “ ADVERTISE” menu. We welcome you to add as many properties as you wish. Do know that we can offer solutions to read or export property from your website if you so wish.
3) French property and you can install automatic ways of uploading the property that you already have on your website via
a) we install a robot that reads your information on a regular basis
b) we install a XML feed that delivers the properties to us, and any modifications on a regular basis.

What is better a robot reader or a XML feed?

An xml feed is better, as it avoids any interference; data is transferred directly from your database. It takes somewhat longer to install but assures a correct feed and that your properties are updated on a regular basis. On the other hand the robot reader is a cheap option as you do not need to invest in expensive development time on your side.

How does a robot reader update the property?

The robot reads your website regularly, and therefore makes sure that the information is up to date with a maximum lag of one week. If a property is not found two weeks in a row, the property is assumed as sold, and removed from French property4u portal.

Can I modify/remove property, if a robot reader is in place?

Yes, you can manually adapt the information for any of your properties In the folder “ my properties” once registered. BUT if you adapt information manually, you will need to adapt the information manually from then on! French property will assume that you have decided to manage this property yourself, and will leave it there until you adapt the data.

Are all websites compatible with the robot reader?

No, it is not possible to have the robot read al websites, we will advice you what the best option is.
 
What is needed to install a XML property feed?

There are three ways of installing this

1) Google rss 2.0 xml standard
French property4u has been designed with the Google RSS 2.0 xml feed standard. You can find this on the Google website at this address: http://base.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en& answer=66779
2) French property uses an existing xml feed you already have in place. This has no consequences for you.
3) If none of the above are possible or are in place, our sister company : ABT solutions can be asked to make a property feed for you. This can of course also be used to feed other portals.

How much does it cost to install an automatic property uploading device?

If you follow the protocol as defined in Google RSS 2.0 no extra work is needed, so no extra costs are asked from you.

Installing a robot reader, or reading your existing xml property feed costs 50 euros You actually get this money back with the first registration as 50 euros credit is given at registration.
