On Friday May 9 and Monday May 12 these attacks claimed the lives of two Israeli civilians, one of whom was a 70-year-old woman, in the communities of Kfar Aza and Yesha, and seriously wounded over ten people this Wednesday, May 14, in Ashkelon. Tropical Cyclone Nargis (14.05.08)The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs dispatched a chartered plane today carrying 40 tons of emergency supplies (water purification tablets and emergency food) from the NGO Action Against Hunger (AGH) for the victims of Cyclone Nargis. The aircraft took off from the airport at Vatry with permission to land in Burma where it will arrive in the night (6:15 a.m. local time). These supplies will be received and handled on the spot by AGH teams working in Burma.
